Attendance Policy

This policy applies to all LCC students

In addition to meeting the learning outcomes of each course, students must meet the
attendance requirements listed on the course outlines.

Refund Policy for PTIB Approved Programs

PTIB approved programs include Diplomas, Co-op programs, and any ESL programs that last longer than 6 months. LCC provides tuition refunds in some cases if your situation changes, or if there are visa issues/delays. Conditions apply.

Refund Policy for ESL programs <6months

ESL programs shorter than 6 months do not need PTIB approval. LCC provides tuition refunds in some cases if your situation changes, or if there are visa issues/delays. Conditions apply.

Grade Appeal Policy

When you complete a Diploma program at LCC, you will receive a transcript with your
marks for each course. You will receive a grade every week in most Diploma courses. If you have questions or concerns about your marks, you may appeal.

Dispute Resolution Policy

This policy governs student complaints about LCC and any aspect of its operations.

Dismissal Policy

Under rare circumstances, it may be necessary for LCC to dismiss a student.

Language Assessment Policy

Admission level requirements for specific courses cannot be waived; all students are required to demonstrate their English level to determine their placement in appropriate classes.

Work Experience Policy

Work experience is a required part of the following LCC programs:
• TESOL Diploma Program with Practicum
• All vocational Co-op programs

Withdrawal Policy

If you must withdraw, postpone, or change courses, please talk to a registrar.
