Online and In-Person Classes

Join our hybrid classes either in person or online. Our instructors are experienced in using technology to deliver engaging, effective lessons whether you join in person in the classroom or online from home.

Course Types

Comprehensive English Courses

Work on all four skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening), at several different English levels.

Special Focus Courses

Concentrate on the skills you find the most challenging. Choose Writing, Pronunciation, Fluency, Listening or Grammar skills.

Test Preparation Courses

Prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP or other English tests required for colleges, universities or citizenship. These courses build high level language skills.

Our Programs

LCC’s General English, Intensive English and Test Preparation Courses over 6 months long have been approved by the Private Training Institutes Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education. For more information about our designation, including an approved program list, please click here.

Comprehensive English

Courses in the Comprehensive English program cover the four essential skill areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Grammar, pronunciation, idioms, expressions, vocabulary and Canadian culture are included in classes.

Test Preparation

Test preparation courses offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers test-taking strategies, listening comprehension, vocabulary development, reading skills, oral skills, essay and letter writing, and fundamental grammar skills.Students are exposed to university-level content including materials from Academic English, IELTS and TOEFL.

Special Focus

Do you understand English when you hear or read it, but lack the confidence to speak, or to express yourself in writing?

LCC has Special Focus courses to help you develop the skills you need most. We currently offer Conversational English and Writing Skills courses.

When do classes start?

We have classes starting every week. Please, call to check for availability.

Can I study at LCC even if my English is very low?

Yes, we have ESL classes for beginners to advanced students.

I have a visitors visa. Can I study at LCC?

Yes, you can study at LCC for less than 6 months. If you would like to study for more than 6 months, please consider one of our full-time English programs.
