Monday to Friday | 12:30–3:00 PM | Tuition: $1,420 + $150 registration fee | Classes start on Mondays.
Students who successfully meet all academic requirements will receive a Business certificate.
This program is a strong fit for students who want to improve their business communication skills, build confidence in professional English, and prepare for work or further study in Canada.
It is especially useful for learners who want practical training in customer service, writing, finance basics, marketing, office communication, and job search skills.
By the end of the program, students can communicate more professionally in workplace settings, write clearer emails and business documents, handle common customer and telephone interactions, and prepare Canadian-style resumes and cover letters for job search.
The program also introduces foundational business topics such as management, banking, finance, and marketing to help learners build wider workplace knowledge.
Worried about paying for training? Eligible students may be able to access support through ISSofBC’s Global Talent Loans program.
Global Talent Loans offers low-interest, government-funded loans from $1,000 to $30,000 for eligible BC residents who are permanent residents, naturalized Canadian citizens, or granted refugees and who have post-secondary education from outside Canada.
The program can help cover short-term training under two years, as well as books, course materials, laptops, software, and other costs related to your career goals.
In addition to funding, participants can also receive career planning, employment support, webinars, mentor matching, and job search help.
