Fully Vaccinated Travellers Returning or Travelling to Canada
If you’re planning to travel to Canada, it’s important to be aware of the mandatory requirements that protect both you and people in Canada from the spreadof COVID-19. There may be some exemptions for fully vaccinated travellers who are currently eligible to enter Canada. To be considered fully vaccinated, travellers must have
received a full series of a COVID-19 vaccine accepted by Government of Canada (or a combination of accepted vaccines). Travellers must receive their last dose
at least 14 days prior to the day they enter Canada. It is mandatory for travellers to use ArriveCAN (available as a mobile app or online at Canada.ca/ArriveCAN) to submit mandatory information digitally before
boarding a flight or crossing by land into Canada.

- If you are required to take an arrival test, you may be asked to take a test on-site at the border, or you may be given a home test kit to complete and send to the lab.
- If your on-arrival test is positive, you must follow the instructions of your local public health authority. Keep your proof of vaccination and test results for 14 days.
