Be at the centre of life changing opportunities for vulnerable immigrant and refugee children, youth and families by donating directly to ISSofBC programs not funded through government sources. Examples include MYCircle - a leadership program for youth, Reaching for Success - an afterschool program for multi-barriered children, TechStart - an intenstive IT training program for newcomers, and First Language Trauma Services - a holistic approach to helping refugees and immigrants.
DonateRefugees and immigrants now have help from a regional services hub in Vancouver —a one-stop housing and support centre. With your donation you can assist those most in need with building a brighter future in Canada. Donations directly support 18 temporary and long-term housing units, multilingual trauma support and treatment centre, youth drop-in and resource space, classrooms for English language learners, Preschool and Childcare centres, and community meeting spaces.
DonateHelp welcome refugees to British Columbia by donating to our gift card campaign. This is a practical way to make a difference either as an individual, part of a school project, book club or faith community. With your generous support, we can provide refugees with basic necessities as they start to rebuild their lives in Canada.

We have chosen to use the Vancouver based Chimp Foundation for all our online donation transactions. Since 2008, more than $25 million has been given using Chimp. The foundation has distributed gifts to over 3330 Canadian charities.
Yes, when you give through Chimp, you’ll immediately receive a charitable donation tax receipt from the Chimp Foundation through your listed email address. The Foundation exists only to give money away, and is responsible for ensuring your dollars reach the recipient you choose. ISSofBC will also be listed on the receipt as the donation receiver. If you choose to donate by cheque or cash directly to us, ISSofBC will issue you a charitable tax receipt in a timely manner.
Yes, Chimp never sells your personal information, nor do they sell client lists to third parties. All other information provided such as user names and addresses, donation history, allocation history, etc. — are stored in a secure database. They never store your credit card information (card number, expiry date and verification code) in their system. This information is stored exclusively — and securely — by the credit card processor Beanstream.
Chimp does not charge an administrative fee on your gifts and having a Chimp account is also free. However, online donations, like all transactions, always incur processing fees at 2.8 per cent. It’s what banks and credit card companies charge for putting a transaction through. The rest of your donation goes directly to the intended project at ISSofBC.
