In our “Let’s Talk About It” course, you’ll learn vocabulary, idioms, and how to express what you want to say in a comfortable, friendly environment. You can study from 5 weeks to 1 year without repeating material.
This course is all about speaking. During class, students take part in debates, brainstorming, role playing, group work and group discussions. Topics such as travel, friendship, crime, emotions, sports, restaurants and personality are discussed and useful idioms are taught related to each topic. This course is also great for preparing for the speaking sections of exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge.
- Have proven English proficiency of at least a Canadian Language Benchmark of 3+ (lower intermediate level).
Before registering for a course students will need to provide proof of English proficiency. This can be done by providing a valid IELTS, TOEFL, CLBPT or CELPIP score or by taking LCC’s English Assessment.
